Active holidays in the south of the Dolomites
The hiking village of Trodena in the Monte Corno Nature park
The village of Truden in the nature park, called Trodena in Italian, is beautifully nestled in the middle of the Trudner Horn / Monte Corno Nature Park and impresses with its original and natural character. Those seeking relaxation, but also active sports enthusiasts such as hikers and mountain bikers feel equally at home here.
The municipality stretches from around 970 to 1,180 m above sea level and unites the three fractions of Fontanefredde, Molini and San Lugano. Large parts of the municipal area belong to the Trudner Horn / Monte Corno Nature Park and are therefore protected. The exceptionally diverse flora and fauna of this corner of the world must be preserved.
During your hiking stay at Hotel Ludwigshof & Luvina, you can expect peaceful forests and gentle alpine meadows with refreshment stops where you can sample typical dishes. Highlights for hikers in Trodena include the European long-distance hiking trail E5 and the Black and White Trail ("Schwarz-Weiss-Weg").
