Trudner Horn / Monte Corno Nature Park Visitor Center
At the visitor information center for the Monte Corno Nature Park in the village center of Trodena, visitors of all ages can discover the nature park “in miniature”: for example, by listening to the sounds of birds and stories in the tree bark hut or by observing the living anthill and in the adventure workshop. The heart of the house is the unique, fully functional elevator mill, which is sometimes put into operation in the summer months. The outdoor area of the house is landscaped with the porphyry and limestone vegetation typical of the park, and the amphibian pond is inhabited by frogs, amphibians, water striders and dragonflies. Open from the end of March to the end of October.
World Natural Heritage Site Dolomites
Since 2009, the “pale mountains”, which have been described by extreme mountaineer Reinhold Messner as the most beautiful in the world, have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Bletterbach Gorge is the smallest of these: a canyon up to 400 meters deep and of exceptional geological significance. However, the Dolomites as a mountain system are so diverse and special that even locals are constantly discovering new things and marveling at their majestic elegance. See for yourself - on hikes, bike or motorcycle tours. Unforgettable impressions await you!
